QuadTech® Register Motorization System 2000

For Commercial and Newspaper

The Register Motorization System 2000 controls lateral, circumferential, and phaser movement of the print couples in order to align register.

Features

  • Register Motorization System 2000 ScreenShorter installation-cable runs are now used, as you run a single cable from the touch screen to the PLC enclosure, typically located on the printing tower.
  • Up to 20 towers can be networked together and controlled from one or more touch screens.
  • The Operator Control Station can be mounted in an existing console or in one of its own, designed by QuadTech to meet your specifications.
  • For a typical four-high tower, the system consists of eight motor assemblies for lateral control, four for circumferential control, and three for unit-to-unit control.
  • Driven by a synchronous AC motor, each motor assembly comes complete with mechanical mounting hardware that connects to the cylinder or unit-to-unit phaser.
  • Limit switches are also incorporated to prevent the cylinder from overtraveling; the control station alerts the operator when the print unit reaches a mechanical limit.
