‘Our Passion is Your Success’ – QuadTech unveils its new Branding

Sussex, WI--February 2004--QuadTech®, a division of QuadGraphics, has launched a new Corporate Identity to reflect the consolidation of recent changes to its business, including the purchase of PressTech Controls Limited. Following comprehensive research involving perception studies and customer evaluations, QuadTech has identified the role most important to its customers – providing products that will impact their bottom line.

As a leading manufacturer of ancillary equipment for web printers, QuadTech’s products provide the ultimate in workflow optimization and quality control. Customers utilizing QuadTech’s range of register, color control, finishing and binding products experience a more efficient method of working, with less wastage, and ultimately more profit.

Sharon Quint, Director of Marketing at QuadTech comments, “We worked with a branding agency, Meyer & Wallis in Milwaukee, USA, to establish a new image that reflected our commitment to providing customers with the best products on the market. A new tagline, ‘Our Passion is Your Success’, reflects our enthusiasm and dedication to this objective.

“Our products provide the competitive edge,” continues Sharon. “They enable customers to differentiate themselves from their competitors, by focusing on the processes that will deliver the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

“In the same way, our aim with the re-branding exercise and our new corporate identity was to differentiate ourselves from competitors; to emphasize our strengths and make it clear why we, in turn, can guarantee customer satisfaction.”

To reflect the results of the re-branding research, QuadTech’s new logo and corporate colors mirror the positioning and values of the business. A crisp, sharp logo represents a modern, forward-thinking personality. The orange shade reflects a warm, caring and approachable organization, while the vibrancy demonstrates the company’s enthusiasm and dynamic attitude.

One significant company strength, which was identified through the customer research, is QuadTech’s relationship to its parent company QuadGraphics. At the very core of the operation, according to Sharon Quint, this relationship is so fundamental to QuadTech’s values that its importance can sometimes be overlooked:

“QuadTech® started as a group of technicians whose role it was to improve the quality of the work produced by QuadGraphics. Their work helped QuadGraphics become one of the largest and most successful web printers in the world.

“Having an ‘in-house’ test-bed for our product development is something our customers really appreciate, but which we have taken for granted in the past. It puts us in a unique and ideal position for developing solutions that address the key requirements of the market, and to continually refine and improve them for applications tailored to the web offset, gravure publication and packaging industries.”

QuadTech’s new identity will strengthen the organization and has already enabled it to establish a focused company strategy, which provides definition for both employees and clients. The company’s new identity has also already led to some internal re-structuring to improving workflow and communications.

“Our new image explains both our past and our future,” Sharon concludes. “It indicates our pedigree and the experience that positions us so perfectly to anticipate customer requirements in the future. At the same time, it provides a platform from which to grow, as we strive to prove our continued commitment to excellence, and to our customer’s success.”
